Jalapeno Pepper
Indoor Sowing
- Start seeds indoors 8-10 weeks before the last expected frost date in your area.
- Use a seed starting mix and sow seeds ¼ inch deep.
- Keep soil moist but not waterlogged.
- Provide bottom heat with a heating mat to encourage germination.
- Transplant seedlings into larger pots when they have 2-4 true leaves.
Outdoor Sowing
- Wait until after the last expected frost date in your area to sow seeds directly in the ground.
- Choose a sunny location with well-draining soil.
- Plant seeds ¼ inch deep and 18-24 inches apart.

Growing
