Growing
- Salad Bowl Red Lettuce prefers well-draining soil that is consistently moist.
- Water regularly to keep soil evenly moist.
- Fertilize once a month with a balanced fertilizer.
- Protect young seedlings from pests, such as slugs and snails, by using a natural deterrent or placing a barrier around the plants.
- Harvest leaves when they are 3-4 inches long, starting from the outside and working your way in.
- Continual harvest promotes new growth, allowing you to enjoy a steady supply of fresh lettuce leaves.
