Cinnamon basil is a unique variety of basil that has a sweet and spicy aroma, reminiscent of cinnamon and clove. The plant has bright green leaves with a slightly purple tinge, and can grow up to 18 inches tall and 12 inches wide. It is an annual herb that requires well-drained soil to thrive. Basil Cinnamon is a popular ingredient in both sweet and savoury dishes, adding a warm, spicy note to everything from fruit salads and desserts to curries and stir-fries. It can also be used to make a flavourful tea, or as a garnish for cocktails and other beverages.
